Ag Panels

Panels are the distribution and control centers of energy to electrical facilities. With the development of technology, the types of materials used in panels have increased and their functions have improved, but their basic work has always remained the same. Today, the control and protection materials used in electrical panels have moved from analog to digital systems. These developments have led to the production of more sensitive materials to protect the systems fed by the panels and human life.

Building Material

The frames are made of profile or angle iron and the sheet metal part is made of DKP sheet with rounded corners with a thickness of at least 2 mm. AG Panel interior, exterior and skeleton are painted with two coats of baked matt spray paint after being painted with one coat of sulphur (anti rust) paint.

Dimensions

Panels are manufactured as 210 cm in height, 75 cm in depth and 60-80-90 cm according to the need. 40x40x4 mm angle iron or similar profile iron is used for the skeleton. The thickness of the DKP sheet used in the panels must be at least 2 mm. If switches and control elements that will have a mechanical effect will be placed on the LV panel sheet, it is better to choose 3 mm sheet thickness. The panel is mounted on a 10 cm high concrete base on a flat ground and attached to this base. The AG Panel is placed on the wall edge, leaving a 75 cm wide passage behind it. A door should be built on both sides of this passage behind the LV Panel, one of which can be opened and closed with a lock. This door is made as a protective cage made of 100 cm high sheet metal from the bottom and 3 mm diameter steel wire with 30 mm intervals.

Features

LV Distribution Panels are manufactured in accordance with TS 3367 and IEC 439 as standard up to 1600 kVA. Distribution panels are the main unit from which the distribution tables of a workshop or a plant are energized. In this respect; distribution panels keep all electrical energy in the plant or workshop under control. When it is necessary to de-energize the distribution table of any section, this can be done in a short time by closing the switch on the distribution panels. In a dangerous situation it is possible to de-energize the entire unit from here. It is also possible to read current and voltage information with the measuring instruments on it.

LV Panel Materials

LV panel materials are as follows:

  1. The busbars are made of 99% pure electrolytic copper.
  2. Switches
    • Load Breaker (Main Switch): They are connected to the energy input of the main part of the distribution panels and keep the whole system under control.
    • Compact Switches: Used as input and output switches in LV panels.
  3. Current Transformers: These are transformers used to measure the current passing through the primary winding from the secondary winding depending on the conversion ratio.
  4. Support Insulators: Support insulators used in switchboards are used to attach the busbars to the switchboard body in an insulated manner.
  5. Panel Internal Requirement Socket, Lamp and Fuse: If desired, one-phase socket connection and lighting lamps can be installed in distribution panels.

Safety and Security Measures

  1. Bare parts carrying voltage in the main panel must be protected against accidental touching.
  2. If the live parts are not enclosed, a distance of at least 1 meter shall be left between the bare parts and the room boundary. If there is a bare part on both sides, the width of the intermediate space should be 2 meters.
  3. An empty passage of at least 90 cm must be left in front of the panel.
  4. A danger of death sign must be hung on the panel.
  5. All non-electrical metal parts of the panel must be grounded.
  6. The floor of the service passage behind the panel must be covered with PVC.
  7. The panel cage lock must be kept locked at all times to prevent unauthorized intervention.
