25 -2500 kVA  power range, up to 36 kV high voltage level, three or single phase, oil lubricated, natural cooling (ONAN), with idle tap changer or automatic tap changer under load,  can be used both externally and internally.

Hermetic transformers are manufactured in the factory environment  by adjusting the pressure  so that they do not come into contact with the atmosphere.
 
In hermetic  transformers, the oil pressure changing due to thermal effects is controlled by the expansion and contraction of the boiler wave walls and designed to withstand these effects.

 

 
Since there is no expansion tank, the process of filling oil into the boiler is carried out in special vacuum chambers in such a way that there is no air gap. Therefore, since there is no  moisture  in the boiler  , the deterioration in  oil caused by oxidation is reduced to zero  .
 
Hermetic transformers have a lower height than expansion tank transformers and can therefore be used in smaller areas.
 
Since the oil does not come into contact with the atmosphere in hermetic transformers, there is no oil change in certain periods as in transformers with expansion tank. Maintenance free except for cleaning of HV and LV  junction boxes.

Since transformer oil does not come into contact with air, there is no oxygen in the environment. Therefore, there is no aging of the oil due to oxidation. With air Since there is no contact, the transformer oil does not absorb moisture. For this reason, hermetic type transformers have a longer life than those with expansion tank.

Hermetic transformers do not require maintenance except for cleaning the bushings and checking the protection devices.

It has a lower height and can be installed in small spaces. Advantageous in compact transformer stations. Expansion tank wiring and The negative effects of busbar connections in terms of safety distances are not in question in hermetic transformers.
